I’m sure Natasha was saying something important. Maybe something about climbing a tree. She was way into tree-climbing that day.
So maybe she was saying something about trees. Or how wild the park was. Whatever she was saying, I’m glad I caught it. Shot feels lively to me. And I’m hard on myself with digital, I tend to delete any shot that doesn’t make the grade, or hit me somewhere. Much harder on myself in general now, actually.
But this one stayed. This one was an aspect of Natasha I’d not captured on film before. Lively, bit playful. Expressive.
