One of the things I love about artist Paul Pope is the expressiveness and inherent sense of motion with which he draws.
Not just the fluidity of his images, but the way he can use a character’s posture and stance to intimate how one might adjust their body to, oh, say, having a rocket on their back thrust them up into the sky.
