(First night of Comic-Con, 7.23.09) I barely took any pictures, this weekend.  That fact bothered me, I TAKE PICTURES, that’s what I do, but I got used to it, as the weekend went on. Because I like to take very specific kinds of pictures, under very specific conditions.  Being surrounded by thousands of people? Not one of those conditions.  Being surrounded by thousands of people and having but a few moments to shoot a particular subject? Also not one of those conditions. I thought back to last year’s con.  I’d taken a bunch…oh wait, those were mostly portaits NOT AT THE ACTUAL CONVENTION.  I’d only taken 2 Polaroid at the last con, that those were both happy accidents. So this year not so many pix.  This one, from my hotel window.  Because I like the pretty lights, and I love staying in hotels.  Makes me feel all fancy and grown up. View high resolution
