Just for Tumblr Folk
If you’re gonna re-blog my photo, how about doing me the courtesy of re-blogging the entire entry, while you’re at it.
Strikes me that in just reblogging a part of the post, or just the photo, you’re stripping it of whatever context I’ve attempted with the text.
Which is unfair to both me and the person I’m shooting.
If you don’t like the whole package, just leave it be, as opposed to implicitly saying “ooh, I like this picture, but don’t much care for whatever you said alongside it.”
I showed you a picture in person, you wouldn’t tell me to shut up so that you could look at it without my pesky explanation.
There’s no reason we can’t be as courteous online as we are in real life.
