Happy birthday to Alan, the guy my favorite assistant ever is dating.
First time I met him, I looked him over like a father would some schmuck who was dating his daughter. I am protective of my ex-assistant, she is very good people.
But he’s good people, too. Stood up to my blistering interrogation (I have no idea if I actually did that, but it’s something I Would do, so let’s just say yes), treats our Emily right.
So happy birthday, Alan. FOR NOW.
