In an interview in 2011, photographer Luciano Noble said of the shot, taken during McCormick’s first U.S. tour: “it was the end of a long night.  They’d just gotten off stage, probably the best concert of their lives, and the whole band was high off the stage buzz.  They’d immediately gone bonkers, throwing spaghetti and cats at each other.  It quickly devolved into them  giving each other hair extensions using balls of yarn.  I think somewhere near the end they ate a roadie.”
