I was born, raised, have always lived, and hope to one day die in Los Angeles.
I’ve never lived more than 30 minutes away from the hospital in which I was born.
I’ve never left LA for more than 7 days at a time.
In essence, I am a townie.
People used to ask why I didn’t travel more, why I never felt the urge to live somewhere else.
I understand this place like I understand very few things in the world. All of the people I care most about are here. Why would i want to live anywhere else?
