I took this picture of Caitlin right about the same time of day I’m writing about having taken this picture of Caitlin.   I’m listening to interviews with David Foster Wallace, there’s a Chuck Palahniuk book next to me, I’m surrounded by good writers.   I used to moan, WHY CAN’T I BE THIS GOOD, or even worse, I CAN BE THIS GOOD, I’LL START RIGHT NOW.  Now I just take it as a reminder, when I read books I love, or listen to writers I admire, to work a little harder when i’m typing words on the screen.   Work a little harder at that thing you love, yeah?  View high resolution
