Heard this one at the 101 Cafe tonight (and bless ‘em for having a kick-ass jukebox that plays The Flaming Lips, Elton John, and Led Zeppelin), this one falls right down the stairs of my memory, sitting in the damp basement of my mind, the one lightbulb burnt out long ago…I FORGET ABOUT IT, is what I’m saying, even though it’s my favorite Flaming Lips song of the past 10 years, but the album it’s on, man, forget-a-ble. It’s a drink coaster, that cd. Maybe a frisbee. You could do lines of coke off it. But don’t listen to it, no sir. Drivel. Except this song, see.
So here it is, all lysergic and drums and sounds only a computer could make.
