Every shot could be my last. There’s no getting around that, now.  When I took this shot of Laura a few weeks ago, I’d been able to put the thought from my mind.  
But at a shoot yesterday, my camera began to malfunction.  Which wouldn’t worry me, except this is the second camera to malfunction in as many months. 
It’s as if my polaroid cameras know the end is near, and are committing seppuku, dying an honorable death before they become obsolete.
