Carré got herself into this pose, we were still just talking, hadn’t really started shooting yet.  

And though we weren’t speaking on anything important, there was such gravity in that pose, such sorrow.  It wasn’t how she was feeling, and maybe that’s the madness of the photographer, capturing a feeling that’s being presented, rather than one that’s being felt.  

Because I’ve got another shot from right after that of her giggling like a kook.  Ain’t no sad times on an O’ Bedlam shoot.
