The 2009 Coachella Lineup: It’s Here! | Pitchfork Having gone to the first, what, 4 Coachella festivals, I never need go again.  Trapped in the desert, in the heat, amongst all the hoi polloi, the food too expensive, not enough shade, parking in & out sheer Mad Max madness, it’s a young person’s game, and I’m an old foggie.   But if I were, this wouldn’t be a bad year.  Beirut, the Black Keys, Girl Talk, TV on the Radio, Band of Horses, MSTRKRFT, Henry Rollins (HENRY ROLLINS!!!!), Public Enemy, Jenny Lewis, and the inevitable clusterfuck that will be the Brian Jonestown Massacre.   And maybe Paul McCartney will play stuff from his new art rock album.   View high resolution
