photophonics asked: What ever happened to your magazine idea?
Working on it! keeps changing, title, idea, it’s something i work on when I’m out of stuff to do. tinkering, that’s where i’m at w/it. Been talking to some other people, thinking about new ways of doing it, making it interesting-er.
Heh, that’s not a word!
Maybe something for the iPad, something more interview-based. Maybe video.
Problem is, it’s easy to just brainstorm a bunch of sweet ideas, “ooh, we could do THIS”. Hard part is actually getting it all done.
Let me say that again: THE HARD PART IS IN THE DOING. If you can actually start work on a project, man, you’re halfway there. I’m really the type of person who likes to just come up with ideas and let someone else actually do the Doing, but sometimes laziness loses out to “BUT IT’D BE SO AWESOME, IT SIMPLY MUST BE DONE, AND YOU, LOU NOBLE, YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN DO IT.”
So I’ve got two weeks I’ve put aside to do nothing but work on stuff like this, been working on it every day so far this week, another big meeting next week, I think we’ll see something very soon.
Of course, it’s gonna be completely different than when it started, but that’s kind of the fun/weird/exciting part.
