Lots of times you see shots of well-known folks, and they’re stiff. Or very composed. It’s all the result of hours of preparation and work. And that’s cool.
But for me, it’s far more satisfying to see a shot like Patrick’s here, where he just happened to bump into Britt Daniel (lead singer for Spoon), and took a few improptu shots. Much more alive, natural, engaging than what you often see in Rolling Stone or the like.
Also, Patrick used Polaroid, because he is awesome.
