Stevie Wonder - We Can Work It Out
Nice thing about the internet (among the many) is it’ll remind you of songs you haven’t heard, but love.
Copycats just posted a cover of a Stevie Wonder song, which immediately made me want to listen to Stevie Wonder.
But as Copycats deals exclusively in covers, I thought it only appropriate to listen to Stevie doing an ace cover.
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again: for me, a successful cover is one that brings something new, something interesting to the original. Don’t just sing the song, contribute a bit of yourself to it.
Needless to say, Stevie tears it up. This is a rare instance where I prefer a cover to the original Beatles version.
