Still in progress. I need to let it simmer for awhile. (via Laurenn) It’s fun watching a piece “in progress,” watching how it evolves. And knowing artists from several disciplines, I get to see behind the curtain fairly often, but I still get a kick out of it. Here, Laurenn’s working on a big piece, one I’ve seen her talk about, seen the earlier version of.  She asked questions about autopsy pictures, about what kind of substance to place in certain areas. None of that prepared me for actually seeing sequins revealed by an autopsy cut,  bulb sign letters surrounding and behind the subject. This screams VEGAS hard.
